The factory sights work well in some lighting conditions and not in others.

Gary Reeder's brass bead front sight and V rear sight are very nice except the front sight is not as durable as I'd like. Putting the gun in and out of a holster multiple times can damage it.

What I'm currently using is a Williams Fire Sight. In some respects it's more durable than the gold bead front sight from Gary Reeder and sight picture is excellent. I did have a problem with mine probably related to the holster though. The fiberoptic part of the front sight broke and came out. Williams sent me a length of fiberoptic material which I've installed with epoxy glue and I doubt I'll have more problems with breakage.

I have Gary Reeder's fiber optic sight on my 510 revolver and it has held up very well for over 5 years. No issues with holster damage.
