Does anyone know where some (44 Rem Mag) is in stock? Midway and Grafs are out. Bass Pro is out.
I want to try some on a bison next week.
Thanks

Try Cheaper Than Dirt (www.cheaperthandirt.com), and if they don't have it, maybe Cabella's does -- but try Cheaper Than Dirt first. If you can't find it, there are some other good manufacturers of heavy cast loads for the .44 mag like Double Tap (a personal favorite at 320 grains), Grizzly Cartridges, Buffalo Bore, and Garret.

Thanks Whitworth but still striking out at Cabelas and Cheaper than Dirt.

Already have Buffalo Bore. I will look for Double Tap.

www.doubletapammo.com -- you just order directly from them and it is really good ammo. I like the 320 grain WFN load. It shoots really accurately in my .44s and it should prove lethal on game. I have used a number of different ammos from Double Tap including .44 mag, .454 Casull, and .338 win mag and have taken a number of animals with it. It's consistent and performs really well.

The federal cast core is a cast performance bullet. Grizzly cartridge loads the same bullet and now owns cast performance. They do offer a 300 grain 44 http://www.grizzlycartridge.com/-strse-9/44-MAG--300/Detail.bok
