I am shooting their 310 gr out of my 44 mag and it works well. I drop them into a 5 gallon pail of water from the mold they well shoot through most any critter.

I used that bullet a few times in 45 Colt loads , on paper . Shot great . I casted some up out of 40-1 and used them on deer last year in my Ruger 454 , but the loads were well reduced , 1350 fps The 2 deer never knew what hit them . I have water droped WW to use on Boar , but never got to use them . But they grouped great . Johnch NRA life Delta Pheasants Forever DU Hunt as if your life depended on your results

Bill, how lucky you are! A great boolit. Lee doesn't make the best moulds but I have not had much of a problem with them. They always replaced any that cast out of round for me. I have never worn one out either. I am a gentle caster and never slam my moulds shut. I give up the few extra boolits to preserve my moulds. Some guys are only interested in slamming them out and getting cans full of boolits in the shortest time. I would rather have 10 perfect boolits then 1000 scrubs and a worn out mould.

I use the Lee 300 grn Gas Check in my 45LC Ruger SBH Hunter. I use 21.5grn of H110. They shoot 1210 fps from my my 7.5" barrel. Mine were made by one of my buddies. They will shoot under 2" at 25yds all day. Mike You don't quit playing because you get old, you get old when you quit playing.
