Bronco, thank you. I never deliberatly try to make anyone angry, but I do enjoy pulling someones chain once in awhile--all in fun of course! I would rather everyone laugh with me and at me instead of feeling hurt.

I am sorry BFRshooter. Used to really admire your posts as a fellow BFR shooter. Today however that repsect has declined. Bronco was only tryin to help! weather you found his advise informative or not is up to you! Both PBCaster and myself are new to the 475 if our comments and info are redundent, Please Advise, in the meantime we willl continue to report range data. You may indeed be able to shoot 2" groups at 50 yds offhand, If so GOD bless you. The rest of us are trying to keep up.

45WLN I didn't see any offensive or derogatory about BFR's comments. He was mearly stateing that that wasn't really a good groups at 20yds to judge a gun by. If that was the best a gun would do, I would sell it. I believe the gun has a higher accuracy potential and he may find it after he gets used to the gun and round. While shooting my buddies Linebaugh made .475, I was able to consistently hit 2 liter bottles at 100yds off had. Maybe 8 or 9 out of 10. I put it down after 10 rounds as the recoil is definatly up there. I have a BFR in 45-70 and have a load that shoots 405's at 1750fps. I can put 5 shots into 1.5" at 50yds off the bench. It's not fun to shoot at that velocity so my regular loads are not quite so warm. Your buddy may find his gun is more pleasant to shoot if he backs off of max abit until he gets used to the recoil. I do understand the need for bigger and more. It's a weakness of mine, but I'm working on it. best of luck.
