I read most of it and what really surprises me is that most of us with a lot of hunting experience have constantly posted those same facts and results over and over. Yet some here continue to argue and question every single thing. Everyone here should STUDY the site, he is 100% correct. Redhawk, even you, after reading and posting all of this, has asked in another post if over penetration is a waste! There will not be a single response to what was said on the site but if one of us posted anything like it, beatings would continue for weeks! Like chamber pressure causes recoil!!!!!!! The problem here is there are trouble makers that dance around facts just to make waves.

bfr, I read it too and you know what I realized: The guy who wrote it had no more "proof" than we do and he was just as insulting in his caustic remarks. I love the parts where he said "anyone" or "everyone" knows, but didn't seem to have any better clue than what he'd based on personal experiences. I do have to admit (it seems you were guilty too) that a little bit of his bullshit, even if he WAS correct, went a long way in making me decide to find something else to read. Strongly opinionated people can never have their minds changed. Experience in the field is the only teacher. Failures can be corrected and other things tried to make killing more effective. I and many others have gone the whole route and weeded out the bad from the good and still continue to learn. To stop learning and just sticking to what you think is best, ignoring other's experiences and not learning from what you do in the field is the wrong way to go about it. You have your opinion and I have mine however I have done the work as have many other hunters here. You can express your opinion but don't deride others in the process. I have resisted being nasty for a long time but the continuing nasty responses without proof or experience to back it up are having a toll. I can now feel free to express my opinion! George, you are opinionated, inexperienced and not very intelligent!
