If you look down a few posts, you'll find one I started titled "Taurus Raging Bull in .44 rem mag." Look down a few replys, there's a link to a company that offers a spring kit. I'll order mine and install it as soon as I return to the states in about a month. I'll post again about my results when I get a chance to try it out.

GringoHunter,

My gunsmith has done a perferct trigger/action job in polishing all parts. He had done a better work than Wilson spring kits bought for my S&W 686.

No it does not come with instructions for installing the springs but it is easy to do. To do the mainspring=hammer spring :is take the hand grip off then you will see the mainspring make sure that the gun is unloaded then pull the hammer back then you will see a small hole in the pin that holds the spring put a sewing needle in the hole then put the hammer back in the closed position . pull it out of the gun .then pull the needle back out of the hole be careful not to lose any parts when pulling the needle out . put the new lighter spring on the pin. reassemble the same way that you took it apart : For the trigger spring take the three screws out .put back in the same way that they came out. Do the same way as you did with the mainspring pull the hammer back then you will see a hole put a needle in that hole .and do the same way as befor.the spring are marked by lbs trigger, mainsprings i put the 10 lb springs in my bull.. If you need any more help fell free to e-mail me if you wont.if you have any more questions...Let me know if you need help!

Hey Bullseye-44, I really appreciate the instructions and the offer to email you for help. I have never tried to do anything like this but your instructions make it sound like it won't be to hard.
Thanks to all for your replies. This is a great forum, proud to be a member.

I had a problem with my 454 Raging bull when I first got it. The brass got stuck in the cylinder with factory loads. I sent it back to Taurus. While there, they did a complete action and trigger job for free. It is sooo smooth and crisp now. [Big Grin]
