I am posting these pics on behalf of Redhawk1 as some of you have expressed the desire to see the photos of his Jack Huntington built Ruger Super Streethawk. Looks a lot like the Ruger SRH Alaskan, but it predates the Alaskan by a healthy margin. This one is in .454 Casull. Redhawk1 can fill in the blanks! I think you'll agree that it is a great looking piece!

Justin, I don't think so as those rounds are pretty long and the cylinder would have to be long and it wouldn't fit in the SRH frame. But, if you require more than a .454 Casull, you can always have one built in .475 Linebaugh, or .500 JRH, .500 Linebaugh, etc......

It's a wicked looking piece isn't it? thumb

Here are the details on the gun, the hammer was bobbed, no hammer spur need for a defense gun. The barrel was cut down to 2 1/2 inches and has a locking device made under the front sight to secure the barrel in place. The scope mount cut outs were welded and resurfaced, the ghost gray finish was bead blasted off and the cylinder was modified to accept moon clips. The gun shoots 45 ACP,45 Win Mags in moon clips, 45 Colts and the mighty 454 Casull. It has an action job and a trigger job. But the top of the hammer is serrated so it can be used for single action shooting, you can see it in the first set of pic's, the second one down. The gun is extremely accurate with the 45 colts, 45 Win Mags and the 454 Casull's. The 45 ACP are good to about 15 yards.

Whitworth, I just want to thank you for posting these pic's, if you want to post a few of my other baby's feel free to do so.

Rehawk1, the Super Streethawk will also shoot 460 Roland and 45 Super as well.... I saw that gun when Jack was building it, and I think that it is an AWSOME piece................ thumb

Awesome looking piece and it's nickname should be "puff"--the magic dragon... Now you have to post some pics of late evening shootings to show us all here how well it spits fire. Big Grin
