Thought the members might be interested. Got this hunting by myself in the middle of no where in WV. No dogs were used, just my knowledge of the area.
Shot it coming at me (it did not see me) at 60 yards with a SSK .325 WSM XP-100 and 180 gr. TSX. One shot in heart. 6' 5" long, 350 #. Had to get 4 men to help me get it off the mountain. Time from shot to completed cleaning -6 hours.
Unbelievable adrenalin rush.
