Picked up a Ruger Single-Six Hunter in 17hmr. They seem to be going up in value steadily and are not being made anymore.

I love shooting my GP100 10shot...and will get a Single ten .22 revolver as well.

Not as much as before the prices increases.

I used to shoot 200 to 400 rounds week of 22lr.

Now it is cheaper for me to shoot 38spl reloads.

As I have a bunch of cheap components for that

I shoot more LR than Mag, but it’s handy for snakes and small game. Using a SGB tool to file the nose flat improves the performance.

If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

I love shooting 22 LR. It's plentiful + cheap + it smells like my childhood. Those olfactory senses trigger memories/ feelings to the brain.

Never mistake motion for action.

I killed 75 groundhogs last year with a SSK suppressed Ruger MK III. Longest shot was 99 yds. for 3 in about 5 minutes. That's a poke for a suppressed .22. I've killed over 300 groundhogs with this gun the last 6 years.

Went and shot the 17hmr this afternoon. What a joy to shoot. Extremely accurate, very good sights on it. V notch rear sight with a fine bead front. Very glad I purchased this one

I had one just like it but sold it to a cousin. It had a pop that just seemed too loud to me. A lot louder than my .22's. It does have the best sights I have seen on any revolver period. Tried to find some for my single six's.

God Bless, Louis

Colt Woodman Match Target #3, just got a new one, perfect for running a trap line, blue grouse or whatever, rabbits, and all small game, dispatching big game..I shoot 22 rifles and pistols quite a bit, never go to the pasture or the Owyhee desert behind my house without a 22 of some kind..also keep a varmint rifle such as my 222 sako handy on those circles..

ONe of my favorite 22 pistols has always been the little S&W mod 34 in RB or SB..4" barrel/

I love the caliber, and find it more usefull than any of my big bores or varmint rifles..I pack the 22 pistols when fishing locally as I have found the need to depopulate the rattle snakes that hang around the trout streams.
