As long as the message is that they are dependably sidearms, I will certainly agree with that! (I think that was the message)

I thought that looked like Knob Creek. The MG shoots are something else.

Cool handgun. Bet a full-auto M9 Beretta would fall apart after three mags. On the other hand, Beretta used to make a full-auto with a stock, didn't they?

glock people love shooting themselves in the foot when drawing there weapons. they also love getting brass blown in there face from that unsupported chamber. there just dangerous, man.

actually, glocks are good weapons one of these days im gonna pony up the 550 dollars for a glock 36.

i will disagree that a beretta would fall apart after 3 mags. they are as durable if not more than a glock.

GLOCKS......

From a Trainers standpoint...EASY to teach IF they have never carried or shot a DA revolver.Extra time/ safety measures required for those who like to place a finger on the trigger.

VERY bulletproof design, great pistol to have buried for a end of days, SHTF scenario.

Let's not mention the AD's because of no safety. Many caused by nothing more than shoving the Glock into ones pocket or waist band...

Anything that catches a glock trigger can cause an AD, this fact is well documented...

Hello all,

I have had Glock 20, 10mm since they first came out and love it, I reload and have found some excellant loads, mild to powerhouse types, although I had never had any problems with my factory barrel, I purchased new KKM barrel and there is nothing better for me.

I also just picked up a 10mm Ruger Blackhawk, but did not have the accuracy of the Glock, sent BH to have custom work done to it, they emailed me on my cylnders and said there was quite a bit of difference in each cylnder and barrel, can't wait to get it back.

Good Luck

Whitworth, get your Glock 20, put an aftermarket barrel in it if you want, you will love it, it is a great gun, very hard on deer at moderate range.

I know why I like glocks.

the kid in the picture below shot this hog and I ended up tracking him. We were about 70 yds into a thick cedar brake. The kid was in front of me. I was showing him how to follow sign. This boar charged from a bush about 10 feet in front of me. I pushed the kid out of the way and the boar went between my legs knocking me over. Lucky for me he didn't hook my femoral artery as I am only5'8". He kept running rather thand come back after us. the kid said he wanted no part of the rest, but I wanted to get this hog so I kept on. I took off in the direction he had run and found him laying against a cedar log about 10 yds ahead of me. I yelled at the kid that I'd found him. When I did this bastard got up again and charged.

This time I had my pistol out and ready. I carry a glock 36 in 45 acp. I shot him seven times in the head and neck with hardball ammo in probably 2 seconds. No jam no misfires. He dropped two feet shy of my legs.

I've carried this gun for several years as my daily carry gun and have put two wounded deer down. This was the only time I've had to use it in an emergency and it worked like a charm. However I am sure thinking about getting a 10 mm for hog tracking.
GWB
ps, we weighed this hog at 270 lbs.

A friend of mine bought a Glock in 10mm about 11-12 years ago when the 10mm was the hot new thing along with the Glock. when the gun was new I really liked it, but after about 1000 rounds the trigger spring got so soft and mushy I didn't feel comfortable being around it unless it was pointed at a target. There is no way I would have ever carried the gun in that condition. I never was too keen on them after that. Another thing that never sat well with me was the grip angle. That's just a personal preference, but it just never felt right to me. to end my comments on a positive note about the pistol though, I don't think I've ever seen one jam or fail to feed.
