Congrats on your deer.
Here in Kansas and we can't use a cap and ball revolver. It has to be a muzzleloader with at least 10" barrel 45 or larger firing conical lead or saboted bullets weighing at least 210grs. Maybe one of these days they will add revolvers. I have a Knight Hawkeye 50cal Black Powder pistol I am planning to take next Black Powder deer season.
