I have been trying to come up with loads for 115 gr. hardcast bullets.I looked in the books and hornady shows 10.5 grs H110 for the 100gr.XTP.Right now I am shooting 9 Grs. with the Cast bullet.Being that the cast bullet causes less friction I am thinking I could go to 10 grs. no problem.Any thoughts????Thanx ahead OB ![]()

You logic is sound. I use pistol data for jacketed slugs with lead bullets routinely. So, are you running a Bisley or the more recent plain old Single-Six?

My Ruger Single Six (original run) with 6 1/2" barrel handles a Lyman 311316 (118 gr GC'd 32-20 bullet) over 10.5 gr H110 without problems. Velocity is 1174 fps. Cases are Starline and primers are WSPs. Larry Gibson
