I was wondering if there are other hard / LBT cast bullet makers that are in the same realm as CP, Bearthooth and Montana Bullet works? Do you guys have direct links or phone numbers?

Lloyd, have you used the Mt. Baldy Bullets much?

I have had great success with the Montana bullet works bullets, but I am open to new bullet makers. I don't cast for myself. It is just one more thing I would have to do, and I already reload for too many different cartridges.

quite a few of them. Franks a good friend and he will occasionaly send me samples to test. Ive allways found his bullets top shelf. nice thing about his bullets too is unless your buying his plinking bullets the bullets he makes are not water dropped overly hard brittle bullets. He casts using alloys proper for the purpose the bullet will be used for most. Alot of his bullets are still even hand casted. He also is very flexible and will run you a batch of bullets out of an alloy that you specify. He also doesnt buckle under to the hard lube deal to make his bullets easy to ship. He lubes them with lubes that work. Frank is also an old school follower of Elmer Kieths theroys and has bout the most extensive line of true keith bullets on the market.

I load 410 GNR, 44 Mag, 45 Colt, 454 Casull, 45 Win Mag, 454 Casull, 460 Mag, 45-70, 480 Ruger, 475 Linebaugh, 375 JDJ, 375 H&H Mag, 500 Mag and 510 GNR in my handguns/handcannons using Montana bullet works bullets.

I also load Montana bullet works bullets in the following rifles, 30-30, 375 H&H, 444 Marlin, 44 Mag and 45-70. Looking at some hard cast for my 338 Federal as well.

What gun are you loading for?

I have used about most of the quality casters like Mt. Baldy, CPBC, Beartooth and Montana Bullet Works (MBW) and now only buy from MBW. The quality is there and the prices and the folks are great. I use them in my 32 Mag to my 500 Linebaugh with about everything in between. I like tha fact that they will cast some bullets at different hardnesses which fits well with my various applications.
