Have a 657 4", 657 4" Mountain Gun and 657 6". All are wonderful shooters.

7 grains of WW231 or 8 grains of Unique behind most any bullet jacketed or lead gives one 900-950 fps from a 4" gun.

23 grains of H110 behind any 200-220 grain bullet runs 1325-1450 fps depending on the bullet weight and barrel length. I use 26 grains of H110 with the 170 grain Sierra and get 1400-1650 depending on the gun.

Favorite jacketed bullets are the 170 Sierra HC, 200 Speer SWCHP and the new 210 gr. Speer Gold Dot HP. Favorite heavy is the 255 grain cast gas check bullet from Cast Performance Bullet Company.

Doesn't get any better than a .41........Bob
