Check the buffer and the in side of the frame for cracks they take a beating. Pawn shop prices are most likely high. Try and bring him down a good 150 if not more. Any extra mags holsters ect all figure in the price.

The price is a little high, unless it is a Delta Gold Cup. I have never seen a Delta Elite with a blued slide and a stainless frame. Is the frame really stainless or is it hard chromed? This might be a parts gun or a custom built gun.

Colt slides for the 10mm should be marked on the left side with DELTA ELITE -COLT AUTO- and a triangle with 10mm marked inside the triangle. The right side should be marked COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL -10mm/SEMI-AUTO-. I had a stainless model and the serial number prefix was DS. I am not positive, but DE and DS may have been the only prefixes used on Delta Elite frames. All but the first Delta Elite frames had a section of the receiver rail above the slide stop removed to prevent the frame rail from cracking. I hope this info helps in determining what you are looking at.
