Whitworth,he watched me shoot it.I have a set up on the bench for little kids so they dont have to lift and fire.He says I will shoot it but don`t make it kick so hard.So being a Good Gramps I said sure thing.Well now I got to produce!!!

From Hodgdon's website,

370 GR. CPB LFP
6 grs IMR Trail Boss
661 fps @ 16,000 PSI
8.5 grs of same
824 fps @ 27,500 PSI

You should also be able to get down to 750 - 800 fps with Titegroup which is my go to powder for reduced loads (though not as redcued as you are seeking) in my 475 and 500 Linebaugh's.

Stick with the Trail boss, I don't like using Titegroup myself, to much can go wrong with light loads with it.

But thanks for the Trail Boss loads.

In my 480, 7 gr of unique will push a 400 gr 700 fps.

Even though it's a light load for an adult, it might be a bit much for a young boy. I let my son shoot the 480 when we as 8 or 9, pushing a 300 gr 1000 fps. I thought that was a light load, but the recoil still got his attention.
