bfrshooter has one too and loves it. I've shot it and even loaded hot it's not so bad. It's also quite accurate.

The felt recoil is worse in the T/C than the BFR revolver.

I sure like mine.You can load it mild to wild.I load 420 cast to 1600 fps(way under max) and the 525 grain cast to 1300 fps out of my 7.5' barrel.Not bad at all to shoot but I haven't shot any off my Max Guide Gun loads in it yet.

The 45-70 BFR will shoot with most any of the other hot rods if you can hold on to it and shoot 40,000/43,500 CUP/PSI loads.
