| This is a case of not having enough velocity to open the wrong bullets. Best to call Sierra and ask about the 130. I shot a deer with my 7R which has more power then the TCU using the 139 gr Hornady. It did not open and there was zero blood sign. I found the deer by walking circles. I switched to the 120 gr bullet but have not tried it again. You will give up penetration by having the bullet expand but it should do the job in the boiler room. |

| Ditto on the bullets. I have a rechambered 7TCU, now a 7JDJ in ten inch length. The 120 Sierra was my choice based on Bob Milek and his work with the 7/30Waters and 7BR. I am working on a similar problem with a 2" 38Spcl and a Hollow Point that will expand at 750Fps. The flat nose bullet designed for the 7/30 Waters should work OK.

| I think the Vmax might be a better choice. I shoot 120 gr nosler ballistic tips and RL 15 from my 7x30 waters. |
