SUMMER SPECIAL- Josh Clarke "Trail Boss" Tomahawks FS

These are Josh Clarke's recently released "Trail Boss" Tomahawks. These hammer polled polled Tomahawks have been several years in the making after Josh received constant requests for a high quality light weight Camp and trail style Tomahawk..

He made a small run of these about six months ago which sold out quickly and since then I have had a standing order for any more he could spare as I constantly get requests for them. Josh just sent me a small group this week. and they are the last I expect to get. I wanted to do a "4th of July " Special on them when they arrived ( not much more American than a good Tomahawk Wink They did not arrive in time, so they are now priced as a "Summer Special " sale.

These Hawks have a 14 ounce head that is hand forged in Josh's shop from 5160 spring steel. They are heat treated to 55 Rockwell hardness , then nicely polished and blackened . They are then ground and sharpened with a razor sharp edge.

The total weight is 21 ounces is 16 inches long.

The head is 5.5 inches. long with a 3.25 inch long cutting edge. This hawk is fast , light and powerful with great striking control. The nearly 1 pound head weight combined with the 16 inch handle provides enough power and blade speed for the head to equal a small hatchet or axe such as Josh's Riflemans axes. The poll is prominent enough for pounding tent stakes etc and yet has been polished with rounded edges for use in flaying hides off of game animals. etc.

The handle is hand hewn from premium grade US Hickory and individually fitted to each Hawk head. They are hand sanded and torched , then given six coats of pure Tung oil .The resulting finish is smooth but still grippy. The Hawks come with one of Josh's hand sewn Vegetable tanned leather masks (sample shown in the last pic on a Riflemans axe}

NOTE- In the pics, the light washes out the Broadsword marking ion the blade but rest assured they are all deeply marked with it.

Retail on these with edge mask is normally $139 plus shipping

The "Summer Special" sale price while these last is $119 plus $10 shipping in CONUS.

PayPal or USPS Money order as payment please. Thanks.

Frank,

I put a Tomahawk back for you and sent an email with contact info several days ago. Maybe your spam filter caught it? You can always use the PM system here to contact me about sending payment. Smiler
