The"Woodleigh Loading Manual," the 2014 classic by Geoff McDonald, Graeme Wright and Hall Bossert, VG to excellent condition, $35 plus $5 shipping.
"Loading and Shooting the Paper-patched Bullet," by Randolph Wright, $15 plus $5 shipping.
"The Paper Patched Bullet," Paul Matthews, $15 plus $5 shipping.
"Sharps Rifles," the classic reference work by Frank Sellers. The jacket is a mess, but the book and binding are fine. Will include "The New Sharps Cartridge Loading Manual" published by C. Sharps Arms. $50 and $5 shipping.
The two-volume magnum opus by Garavaglia and Worman, "Firearms of the American West, 1805-1865," and "Firearms of the American West, 1866-1894." Volume one is in great condition as I was smart enough to put a cover on the dust jacket. Volume two was "customized" by my late Australian shepherd, Bella, who nibbled the lower spines of several treasured books one afternoon, apparently out of spite for not being taken for her walk. The book is in otherwise very good condition. These two volumes constitute the best single reference I know of for the firearms of this period and are peppered with notes from original sources in addition to the excellent photographs, many of them historic. $100 shipped for the pair.
