I personally, appreciate all the kind thoughts gentlemen. He was supposed to head south down to Kingsville / Brownsville area and instead he turned and came north. Luckily, we only had a few limbs that snapped is all. no other damage. There was not a lot of flooding where we are, but more wind damage than anything else. Some neighbors and other family of mine lost a fence, part of their roof, and some solar panels from their house.

This now makes two hurricanes and two winter storms that I have sat thru in this house. Believe it or not, it goes get PRETTY CHILLY down here on the coast in the winter time. I just got online and purchased an 8500 W generator. In case this happens again (and it will) I'm going to have my electrician wire the house where i can plug straight into the panel and run the house and all utilities, with the exception of the outside condenser for the AC system. Next time I will be prepared. I am not going through this a third time.
