This Special holiday run of Josh Clarke's New "Slim Hunter" design with select fancy Figured Curly Maple and Black Walnut. These are the last two knives I have at the Christmas special price.

The" Slim Hunter" as Josh's "BTC" model (Bird, Trout and Caping) with a Clsssic English taper style handle.

The design is a trim drop point useful for everything from detail caping , filleting fish or cleaning birds and small game. It's also just a great little EDC or camp knife. At about 3.5.ounces, the knife and sheath combo disappears on your belt. A very handsome and usefull little blade.

The dimensions are 7.9 " overall length with a 3.75" The blade that is thinly flat ground ground from .100" thick 1095 stock. Heat treat at 58-59 RC.- sharp as h*ll and holds the edge nicely, yet easy to sharpen. It is deeply marked with Josh's "Longsword" maker's stamp.

The Fancy airdried scales were hand picked from Josh's wood inventory . They are gorgeous air dried Fancy Dark stained Curly Maple , Black Walnut Crotch Burl wood. The pics DO NOT do these scales justice!

They are all attached with hand set brass pins and lanyard tube epoxied with Brownell's Acraglass.Then they are finished in Josh's shop blend of Tung oil and Spar varnish for a velvety, yet tough finish.

The Sheath included is a nicely made veg tanned unit designed to be used as either a slip type sheath for a pack or pocket .It also includes a lanyard for use as a neck knife.
