| Interesting hoofnit. I saw swivels like that in my search and didn't give them a thought. This is my first foray with a vintage American hunting rifle. Were the hook swivels bent closed after placing them through the eyes? |

| yes, they were bent so they were just touching at the curve, probably can find a better example picture on the internet, have used them in the restoration of some early mauser rifles |
