While looking through my shop the other day, I found one in brass that I bought several years ago + forgot about. I remember thinking that either of those would make a nice addition to a blued revolver. Someone should jump on that.

Hi do you know exactly which frame it is? Xr3 red or ?

I tried my XRN-3RED grips on it and they seemed to fit with a little extra metal showing. I assume that’s to allow fitting the frame to your gun. Should work out ok.

Not looking to make a profit, just want to recover my expense. Surely someone would like a nice stainless frame to replace that anodized aluminum one that Ruger puts on most Blackhawks.

How much "fitting" would have to be done, to mount on a existing Blackhawk? Your best estimate. Thanks.

I’ll try to find some time to take my existing frame off and trial fit this new stainless frame. Will take some pictures of it and with the grips in place too.

I'd like to see that too. My brass one is still in the package, that might reignite my interest in doing that.

Didn’t get around to test fitting it today. Tied up with too many trivial chores.
