I believe this blank is American Walnut. It came from the estate of a deceased gunsmith and was cut at least 15 years ago. It would make a decent stock and forend for a single shot rifle or for a shotgun. 27" long, 5-1/2" wide at the butt and 2-1/8" thick. I wetted the blank with mineral spirits to show the color and grain. $85 plus actual shipping.
