Have you solved your scope base problem? If not, I've got a JR 70 base for 300, 375 H&H above SN 66,350 that does not have screws or side hold down bolts. Be glad to give you that one as I suspect you should be able to round up the bolts and screws easily enough. It looks very clean. Think that one came off a 1953 375 that I put Talley's on. I've also got a complete NOS with all required parts you could have for $50 shipped.
