1917 Enfield

Need a take off stock with full 14" LOP.

Does not need to be original military. Any decent replacement sporter will do for a Right hand shooter.

Will replace a very nice walnut stock that's been cut to 12" LOP. We could arrange a trade if you have a need for such a short LOP, or will sell this to another.

Grandson is 25 and 6'2" still growing so needs a longer stick.

PM with what you may have.

Thank you, George

Good luck, George. This shouldn't be too hard to find. Boyd's has their Classic for $175.

Boyds has a Enfield stock listed in their Rapid Fire area for $113. You should have a drop in fit.

Yes, Boyds will work fine. Why not just install a spacer on the one you have?

Tom that would be quite a spacer!

2 inches would be a bit unsightly I'd think.
Had 1 1/2" on my L61, looked wrong.

Had planned on asking you, then I forgot about it until after posting this last night.

Thanks guys,
George

Yes it would look bad, but I was just thinking about performance.
Or you could paint it

Agreed, performance always trumps appearance,( within reason) besides the original P-17 stocks were pretty unsightly to begin with.
