Two questions: does this break require a crush fit washer for proper timing, and what is the diameter and thread pitch? Thanks, Jeff

Yes, it would require a crush fit washer or shims to time it. It is .800" in diameter and 1/2x28 tpi. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I’ll check to be sure, but I think the threads on my rifle, which is a Ruger American predator in 65 Creedmoor, are different than that. Not sure.

If your barrel is threaded 5/8x24 you can use an adapter that threads onto your barrel and will allow the use of a 1/2x28 brake. I've used them myself.

It is the 5/8 diameter. I’m going to pass. good luck with the sale.
