My youngest son is doing a science fair project on bullet weight and speed vs penetration. I need some light partitions to complete. .308 diameter.

El, I don't have any 125 grain partitions but I do have some older Sierra 125 grain spitzers.

Let me know if you need a few.

Regards,

Well, I appreciate the offer, but then we would need to find some older 200 gr sierra's! The test really should be the same bullet if that makes sense.

No problem. Good luck with the project. If you tried that type of bullet project in Illinois, you all would probably end up in jail on terrorism charges!

The lightest 30 cal Nosler Partition listed now is a 150 grain, and they go all the way up to 200 grain. Did Nosler ever make a 125 or 130 grain 30 cal Partition? I'm not aware of it if they did.

It was listed in their reloading manual, so I assumed they did.

You are correct. I misread the book. 125 is an accubond.
