What I have is a Douglas stainless, 25 cal 10 twist. This was supposed to be a CrMo but Douglas erred and made it in stainless. I figured it out after getting it machined, was wondering throughout the process but "Douglas should know" It's been fitted to a pre-64 action, threaded, copied to an original pre-64 Fwt contour, polished. It had NOT been chambered or the extractor groove cut Asking $200 plus $25 shipping. I've got more than that in the machining! What did they say about it? Someone was sleeping on the job; they do use a CNC lathe that contours them in less than 7 minutes. Don't worry; they are flooded in coolant and held by huge automatic opening steady rests. | |||
