This is one of a Special run of Josh Clarke's 6" Fronier Butcher knife design with a classic rounded French style handle with VERY nice Bocote Burl handles



The design is a Classic "Butcher" pattern that is a great hunting or camp knife that only weighs 5.5.ounces, for the knife and sheath combo .



The dimensions are 11 " overall length with a 6" The blade that is thinly flat ground ground from .100" thick 1095 stock. Heat treat at 58-59 RC.- sharp as h*ll and holds the edge nicely, yet easy to sharpen. It is deeply marked with Josh's "Longsword" maker's stamp.



The Fancy handle scales were hand picked from Josh's wood inventory .They are bookmatched and dramatically streaked AAA grade Bocote Burl .The pics DO NOT do these scales justice!



They are all attached with hand set brass pins and lanyard tube epoxied with Brownell's Acraglass.Then they are finished in Josh's shop blend of Tung oil and Spar varnish for a velvety, yet tough finish.



The sheath included is one of Josh's beautful hand sewn veg tanned Bridle leather belt sheaths.
