480 pieces of 30-06 military headstamp brass. Has been washed and tumbled. I'd estimate 90% of these are WWII and Korean War era headstamps with a few later postwar years mixed in. New price. Now $75 shipped. I want to send this box of brass to a new home. Jason

Maybe, but what are the majority of those headstamps? thats important with tht old stuff and has it been fired more than manufacture date. Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com

That would be good to know. Also, LC match would be even more desirable.

I took a random sampling of 50 cases from this lot. While I can't guarantee this exact ratio throughout the entire lot, I believe it's representative. By headstamp: SL 43- 22 pieces LC 53- 11 pieces SL 55- 1 U 42- 1 RA 57- 1 LC 45- 2 FA 57- 3 WCC 57- 1 DEN 42- 2 UT 42- 1 RA 52- 2 OJP IV 60- 2 IK 30-06- 1 (these last two are probably foreign but have crimped primers) Of the 50 piece sample, 18 still have primers in them. The rest have been decapped but not resized. Military crimps are still there on decapped ones. I did count the brass but haven't scrutinized every single of the 480 pieces. There may be a case or two that's been sized or reloaded that I haven't noticed, but I believe my descriptions are fair and accurate. I didn't shoot these myself. They came from the estate of an old shooter/ hoarder and are surplus to my 30-06 reloading needs. If I didn't already have more than a lifetime supply of 30-06 I'd reload them myself. I want to offer them to someone who will use them.
