Could you double check the tube diameter? I see the current scope has a 30mm tube diameter. If it is 26mm, how old is the scope?

It is a 26mm Tube, don't know the thru age, it
was mounted on a High Quality Paul Jaeger
Custom Built Rifle, with the Jaeger side mount.
Best I could find out late 80's., early 90's.
