It's a right handed world, I'm afraid. You could always cut another extractor slot in it!

Also have a Model 70 in 416 Remington; a new take off, with the sticker still on it. This one has the Portuguese threads. Not 1-16. No sights, but has the sling band.
$160 for either the 375, or the 416.

By 'no sights', do you mean the sights have been removed, or it didn't come with factory sights?

I don't think I've ever seen a M70 416, without sights.

I assume that 416 barrel would fit a M70 that was a 7mm, 300, 338?

I mean they don't have sights on them; they have the holes that the sights were attached to. Of course all Safari classic had sights. Yes, the 416 will fit any Model 70 with the new threads. The 375 will fit any Model 70 with the 1-16 threads. Claw extractor; won't fit push feed models. Headspace fit is up to the buyer.
The fine larger, thread one is easily re threaded to 1-16.
Muzzle OD; 375 is .719 and 416 is .725. Picture is an illusion; they are basically the same.
I can post pictures if anyone wants to see them. I might anyway. We are covered in two feet of snow today.

Question: assume if you screw the .375 onto a G classic ultra mag receiver it could be rechambered .375 ultra?

Thanks
