Duane, Have you ever personally mounted a set of swing-off rings on this exact recently built action (Rigby Big Game / Mauser 98 Magnum Double Square Bridge) ? You might want to question Mark Cromwell the owner of NECG and the importer of EAW and Recknagel . Mark is the person who personally put together these rings for me and one of the factory bags with the front ring assembly clearly states in its factory original packaging “EAW”. Fitting these rings sometimes requires a lot of experience and parts only experienced and trained people like Mark have on hand. Seems recently you wrongly questioned Jim Wisner and myself on two FN MAUSER C RING actions that JW put together for me, and you never bothered to apologize or correct yourself to J Wisner or myself. Too much time on your hands Duane? Maybe best to send a PM if YOU have questions rather than jumping on someone’s for sale AD. YOU THINK? Are you interested in purchasing them? Again these rings were personally put together by Mark Cromwell owner of NECG and importer of EAW/Recknagel and fit for the Rigby Big Game/Mauser 98 Mag Double Square Bridge 4WD

Well...to asnwer yur question....Yes...I've installed both EAW and Recknagel as wll as plenty of Suhler claw mounts. I happen to have a pending project on an FZH action where the squre bridge is already machnined for the Recknagbel system While it is certainly possible to mount a suitable base on a square bridge for the EAW system, wouldn't make a clean logical applicaion. Since I may be in the market, I wanted to make sure exacly what you had. AS I mentioned in my PM...If I made some error on some action you had, bring me up to speed and I'll be happy to set the record straight

Wiebe, As I stated your “EAW??? comments” are the same tone and same derogatory arrogant attitude as when you recently jumped on my for sale FN C Ring Mauser rifle ADs , those rifles built by Jim Wisner. You jumped on those ADs of mine too ,saying there were no such FN C Ring Mauser actions, really??? Obviously you were wrong that time too but your ego is too big to acknowledge your inaccuracies, no apologies to me or J Wisner. Now once again you jump on another of my for sale ADs. Now once Again you are casting doubt on another of the most knowledgeable gun people on the subject ,Mark Cromwell . As stated in my AD for DSB Rings, these rings were put together for my DSB MAG Mauser by Mark Cromwell the owner of NECG and the US importer for EAW/Recknagel . Mark Cromwell has more years of experience and number of installations in installing this type of DSB mounting system than any other gun smith in the US .If Mark says he used EAW parts he used EAW parts, the front ring assembly is in a factory marked EAW OEM bag.The AD clearly states the swing off rings were put together for my DSB Mag Mauser 98 by Mark Cromwell using EAW parts. I kind of know you have a hard on for me Wiebe when I declined your offer to build a $25K++++ (plus action, barrel ,stock blank and parts rifle, and with your “I will complete the rifle when I complete it attitude, no completion date, just a whenever I feel like it. Hopefully you can get past that and quit jumping on my for sale ADs, if not okay ,I find you amusing. However instead of taking all this time to stir things up that you know more than your peers , you should probably spend your time on your bench working on the guns you are already two+ years late on. 4WD

Oooooof. It was a simple question. A simple and legitimate question. EAW manufactures different kinds of quick-lok/swing off mounts.

More history here with Wiebe than that RR 314. The polite , professional, courteous and proper protocol is not to put doubt on a for sale ad . If you don’t understand something, have questions or do not know what you are talking about it is common courtesy to send a PM with questions. At least that is how I conduct business. 4WD
