DennisFOne More Glock Question Please
I have a .357 Sig barrel in addition to the .40 S&W barrel for my G27 (this is a Glock barrel and not an aftermarket). From what I can see after comparing the way rounds sit in both chambers it seems to me that the .357 Sig is not an "unsupported" chamber like the .40. Am I correct or just seeing things?
See Reloading for a Glock below
Thanks
Dennis

fredj338Dennis, take the bbls. out, drop a round in & you can see for yourself. I only have a G17 which is supported.

CDHI've seen some side by side pictures showing the same thing. Apparently the bottlenecked 357Sig can work with a shorter steeper feed ramp. This in effect moves the feed ramp back and eliminates (or greatly reduces) the unsupported area of the chamber.

DennisFThanks for the replies.
fredj338: I did as you suggested before I made this post and the different way the rounds set in the chamber is what caused me to ask this question. The .357 Sig definitely appears to have a fully supported chamber.
CDH: I was thinking the exact same thing when I made this post (bottleneck round).
Thanks to both of you, the info you gave me was identical to my observations. At least I know that if I am wrong there at least two other people wrong also

.
Have a good one
Dennis
