I have numerous reloading dies manufactured by various companies.

Where's Forster and Lee? Lee makes the best neck sizer because of design, not because of quality of construction. Forster is way ahead of Hornady for sure and probably tied with RCBS and Redding. ____________________________________ There are those who would misteach us that to stick in a rut is consistency - and a virtue, and that to climb out of the rut is inconsistency - and a vice. - Mark Twain | Chinese Proverb: When someone shares something of value with you and you benefit from it, you have a moral obligation to share it with others. ___________________________________

I voted for Redding because Forster wasn't a choice.

I agree Forster should be in the group too. Plus there are other brands not mentioned of very high quality (Wilson, ect). I`d put Forster about equal with Redding, Hornady above Lee or Lyman, and except for the old decapping system equal to or better then RCBS. I think you`ll find everyone has their idea of the "best" in dies, and you will get alot of opinions. Also some dies like Lymans "M" die is not equaled (IMHO) for its purpose by other makers. Lee`s collet die is another. For specific jobs one brand may stand out while overall it is lower in ranking to many people. ------------------------------------ The trouble with the Internet is that it's replacing masturbation as a leisure activity. ~Patrick Murray "Why shouldn`t truth be stranger then fiction? I'd put Redding near the top for production made dies and Hornady at the bottom. Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. Forster is #1 with Redding in a close second for me. Out of the 3 listed, I choose Redding. Reloader

I woulda voted but since Forster wasn't on the list I didn't. Bear in Fairbanks Unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes. I never thought that I'd live to see a President worse than Jimmy Carter. Well, I have. Gun control means using two hands.

I chose Redding since I have so many. If Forster was a choice, I probably would not have voted since I believe there is no difference b/w Forster and Redding. Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my guns

Want the best 3 die set for bottle neck cartridges? 1) Forster BR FL sizer 2)Lee Collet neck sizer 3)Forster or Redding BR seater. All others are tied for second place. A very distant second place.

I've got a bunch from different mfgs. All of those listed. I like Forsters best for sizers, Redding for seaters. Having said that, I've only had problems with 5 dies, 4 were sizers from Redding, one an X die from RCBS--maybe it's changed in a few years, but Redding's customer service SUCKED. RCBS customer service is beyond compare--completely awesome...I've had a couple customs done by Forster, and their customer service is excellent as well.

Wow Fish. We definitely have 2 totally different experiences with Redding. Jay, in repair, has been above and beyond reproach, working with me and my needs on my dies. He has always returned my calls and Patrick Ryan has always responded to my emails. I would have to compare them to Leupold! Excellent! Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my guns

I have purchased hundreds of dies, I would go with Redding any day of the week.

I did not vote because my favorites were not listed. I like: 1. Wilson 2. Jones 3. Bonanza 4. Forster 5. RCBS in that order. The ones I will NEVER buy again are Hornady. I find Redding to be generally good dies & buys, but my "customer service" experience with them was very poor.

No Jones here but I have a set made by John Dewey. One of the best die sets I have used was the Eagle brand.
