Does anyone have any load results they can share from using accurate powder Data 73 or 79? roger

Well today at the Range we tested some more Accurate data 73 but not 79.

My cousin was shooting ragged one holers ( 50 yds.) with his 22-250 and .257 Roberts. Using near max loads (judgement call) with Mag. primers he was getting much cleaner burning than I on the whole:

.223, 55gr. Mid South Varmint Nightmare ,LC-02 cases. Crimped, wsr primer---24gr. acc 73--- slightly flat primers, 3024 to 3074 fps. 4 shot 3/8" group 5 shot 1/2" group at 50 yds. Rather clean burning.

.243, 95gr HPBT Berger seconds,wlr primers, RP virgin cases, ----35gr. acc73----OAL= 2.918", Mild, very DIRTY, 2853 to 2978 fps. 3 shot 1/2" group 50 yds. Needs more powder and Mag. primer IMHO.

.243, 100gr. sp, Mid South, wlr primer, RP virgin cases, 35gr. ---acc. 73--- OAL= 2.820", DIRTY,mild, 2829 to 2877 fps. 5 shot 3/4" group.

The acc73 seems accurate enough but it is dirty as indicated by these slightly reduced loads. I hope someone finds this stuff usefull. roger
