Could someone please run QL on a cast general hunting load for .458 Lott? I have no crony so I want to know if the it'll leave much lead inside. I'm shooting for 1400 to 1700fps and low pressure, always low pressures. The load was suggested by a well known forum member who shall remain nameless but loves ball powders. Bullet cast from Lee mold C457-500-F(.457 sized 500grainer with gas checks) starting with 69.5 grains Win 760 Bell brass CCI Mag Rifle primer 24" barrel Hope this is enough information. Thanks very much for the help.

I happen to have the program open this morning studying another post about the 458 win and IMR3031. I'm glad to help.

Here are loads from Accurate Powders that are low pressure, velocity in the range that you want and require much less powder. The .45 - 2.875 Sharps is a low pressure round and the case is only about .075 longer than the Lott. .45/110 SHARPS 2 7⁄8" Gun WISEMAN Barrel length 30" Primer CCI 250 Case HDS Powder Start Chg.
