Caldwell front rifle Rests

Hi would you think the 15 lbs BR front rest would do the job of basic shooting? I am omly shooting to 300 yards

Or do I need the 25 lbs BR front rest !!!!

I`m happy with their 15# rest. Then again, I`m not a benchrest class shooter so maybe I`m missing something......
Personally I think for general use it matters more how far from the pick-up to the bench then from the bench to the target. A couple rifles, bag of ammo, spotter, ect makes it work real fast IMO Big Grin

If you're gonna spend your money on a front rest, buy a good one. Heavy is always better. Don't buy something and find out later it isn't worth while.
