I just bought 10 boxes of 30 caliber, 150 grain partition gold bullets from Midway at $5.00@. I plan on shooting these moly coated bullets in 30-06 and 308. I'm a sucker for a bargain, but am wondering why these bullets are so cheap. Is it the moly coating? Does anyone have any experience loading the partion gold?

I bought 20 boxes, and Midway gave me a 10% discount off that price. I've never shot any, but at that price, if I don't like them, I can double my money on Ebay!

You guys made it sound so good, I just bought 4 boxes, too! I'm always looking for cheap bullets for my K-31, hopefully these shoot better than the pulled surplus I was using.

They had a limit of 3 boxes 2 days ago when I ordered--I'd of bought 20.

No pig in my mind.

I would suggest you get all you can right now. I have a feeling that the CT Partition Gold are going the way of the doo-doo bird, real soon.

Nosler has even cut their retail price to 1/3rd of what they were asking a little while ago.

I have the feeling the CT bullets - of which the Partition Gold was one - are all going out of production. The bullets you acquired should be fine, but they may be the last you'll ever see of these.

Let's hope something better is in the pipeline. It usually is in this country, but then they gave us R-134a when R-12 already worked so well.
