Reloading for the MAS 7.5x54---Questions:

Use 30 cal. bullets up to 140 gr.---right?


Any rumor about problems past or present with LEE dies in this caliber?

It is .308" in the groove, n'est ce pas? If so, why are you limited to 140 grain bullets? What is the twist rate?

I would use .308 WIN data for starting loads.

I used lee dies and either 308 or better yet 7.62x54r data. Both the russian and french round have almost identical case capacities and any 7.5mas platform has been successfully converted to 308 so pressure isn't an issue.

Whatever you do NEVER make 7.5x54 brass from 6.5x55 I don't care what you read in a load manual.
