It is .308" in the groove, n'est ce pas? If so, why are you limited to 140 grain bullets? What is the twist rate? I would use .308 WIN data for starting loads. "Bitte, trinks du nicht das Wasser. Dahin haben die Kuhen gesheissen."

I used lee dies and either 308 or better yet 7.62x54r data. Both the russian and french round have almost identical case capacities and any 7.5mas platform has been successfully converted to 308 so pressure isn't an issue. Whatever you do NEVER make 7.5x54 brass from 6.5x55 I don't care what you read in a load manual. ---------------------------------------- If you waste your time a talkin' to the people who don't listen To the things that you are sayin' who do you thinks gonna hear And if you should die explainin' how the thing they complain about Or the things they could be changing who do you thinks gonna care Waylon Jennings
