Normally don't pick up range brass unless it's mixed with mine. But being ancient, brass on the ground still looks like money to me; but I digress. Today almost a box (50) of a headstamp I'd never seen before came up in the mixture. The headstamp reads: SARUSA 22 9P

Familiar to anyone?

I shoot about 30k rounds a year of 9mm reloads, all on range brass. If the pin tumbler will get it clean, it is good to go.

You could email SARUSA and ask them. Their URL is here.

I use range brass all the time for my 9mm, and when I can find it for my .380s, .38s and .357s.

My wife wanders around when the "don't shoot - hands off your gun" light and alarm come on and collects what she can find. I end up cleaning it and reloading it.

I've never had a problem (but I'm not a competetive shooter — I practice for self-defense).
