I made some reloads for my .243 Win in 85gr. as I use these for Antelope. They were made a year ago. I was using a 700 Rem rifle, I sold the rifle and wanted to use the ammo in my new Tikka, but the OACL was to long for the Tikka, so I wanted to seat them .009th deeper. And when I did, each bullet made a snap as it was reseated . I have never had this bullet set before, how about you

6.5, I've had the same experience, oddly enough with a 243 as well. I had made some loads for a single shot that was fairly deep throated, and then re-inherited the rounds when my pal rebarreled the rifle. I went to use them in one of my Sauer 202's and they were too long for the magazine, I seated them a fair bit deeper, over .09 worth, and had that same pop or crack if you will. I accepted it as just breaking the 'seal' from the original seating of the bullets, which had been over a year previous.

Long story short, they shot fine, no issues of any kind.
