Hello All, I have a K-gun double in 450/400. I've been able to get Barnes TSX to shoot as well in it as the Hornady ammo. I would like to try loading 300 grain 405 Win bullets to use as a general practice round/ lighter hunting load. I remember reading on one of the forums that reasonble accuracy (for a double rifle) can be had using the "70% rule" for a given caliber in doubles (i.e. using a bullet that is aprox 70% of the weight of the bullets used to regulate with, keeping the same velocity as the original loading). At least I think that was it. Anyway, i'm looking for info as to: pet loads, pressure problems, velocities, problems encountered, accuracy, etc. I'll probably post this same question on some of the other forums as well. Thanks in advance Regards, Longfeather | ||
