RCBS case prep machine
I was watching a show the other night and they were doing a story on case prep and they were showing the case prep machine in action. One thing I noticed was that it seemed like the powered spindles were all running in a sort of egg shaped pattern instead of a nice tight circle. Just wondered how this would effect the primer pocket uniformer and if it would egg shape the primer pockets? Am I being too anal about this?

I have one, love it, and have no trouble with any part of it, my loads shoot fine!!

The cutter only cuts on the bottom and is a snug fit on the sides of the primer pocket. Your hand will travel with any side motion of the tool and ease any pressure not ditected at the bottom of the pocket. I wouldn`t worry, it won`t enlarge them.

I got mine to expressly do the primer pocket uniforming work. it's a real pain to do those by hand when you're doing 500 new cases at a time. The primer pockets come out just fine and are nice and tight.

Another vote here for it being a good thing.

I sure do like mine have had it a year and run lots of brass thru it.

I do appreciate one of the comments about taking the bottom off and relubing it-hadn't thought about that.

They work great! A real time saver; don't know why I didn't buy one sooner!

I like mine and have it mounted right next to the case trimmer. Works great and saves time...

The guys are right. Once you own one, you’ll never be without one again. thumb
