100gn 280 load?

I need a 100gn Hornady 280 load. It doesn't have to be extremely hot, 3100fps or so. I'm just looking to see if any one has any powder recomendations. It'll be a 300yd gong load for practice. thanks, capt david troll

I always used IMR4350 with the speer 115 and the few times I tried the Hornady 100. My rifle like the 115HP better and it would turn a Jack rabbit inside out. 3100 with the 100 would be on the very low side. 3300+ should be easy.

checked hornadys #5 manual they really liked imr4350 and h-4831,both good powders 4 sure but i''m biased on imr 4350 my self and its faster burning and that a good thing pushing liter bullets,hey have fun, regards jjmp
