Hello all! Wanted a quik double check and opinion on the Oal of the 75grain vmax only found info on 70 grain and 80.Oal somewhere between 2.615 to 2.65 .I had a can of Imr 4831 where would be a good start point 39to 40g??My gun is a savage bolt action with a 22 inch barrel 1 on 9.25 twist.Looking to shoot the 75 and 85 bullets.thx for any advice have only reloaded a few x and need to double tap i mean couble check with the boys first!!Thx!!!!typing on my phone r this would be longer!!smartphones my &%@#$$

look in your loading manual - it gives a max length. just make sure the bullet doesn't seat to far into the lands or it will get stuck if you eject the live round. IMR4831 is a bit slow for 243. try 4350 41-44 grs
