I won't mention the velocity, but if you chronograph it, you should like it. This is done in a Ruger 77 Mk 2, which is long throated. The finished case has an OAL of 80 mms. 40 grains of IMR 3031, 175 grain Rem ( or Speer is what I have used), Fed 210 primers ( or CCI Large Rifle) This rifle was not very accurate with much until I tested this load with IMR 3031. It was much less than minute of angle in mine, and I own two of those rifles. 40 grains of IMR 3031 proved to be both accurate and also the velocity is almost the same in bullet weighs from 139 to 175 grains. This powder and volume are all I shoot in my 2 Ruger 7 x 57s. Others may work also, but with a rifle doing a lot less than minute of angle, why mess with success. Good luck if you try it, cheers and good shooting seafire

7X57 175gr psp, 46gr.accurate 4350 fed mag. primer 19" barrel, seated out to lands, 2463fps. No indication of pressure. It definitely was not at the max. and in my scout rifle (2 power scope) it put them all into a 1 1/2" circle. roger
