I bought some Winchester BallisticSilvertip in .222 Rem (SBST222). The cases are silver instead of brass colored. Are these cases reloadable? Thanks

I would think they are probably just nickel plated in which case they are reloadable. Make sure you lube them well as in my experience they are just a bit harder to get into and out of the die.

tieoneon, they are nickel plated brass. Ignore bullshit you may hear about them flaking and scratching your dies, they are nickel plated--nickel is softer than steel (your dies)

I've found them to have a long life, and reload easily, although I discarded all of them in a couple of calibers once, but like Win Factory ammo, and have accumulated a bunch again.

I think Reloader2 is right, I think they are a little 'stiffer' than regular brass, and take a little more pressure to cycle through the die.

Good Luck--Don
